Mustards Bar & Grill: Your Go-To Destination for American Comfort Food in San Francisco

My server Vital was awesome, such a friendly man that really made my experience more than the subpar surface level like you get at most airport restaurants. Food was good too, the big fat yellow heirloom tomato on my burger and handmade pickles really elevated my meal. Loud enough in the restaurant to make a phone call without disrupting my neighbors but not so loud that I couldn’t hear the other end. Visited here many times on a flight out of the country and it’s never disappointed. But this evening was the best.

Gen AI told me that the steak here is great but turned out it was not on the menu. Yet the recommended burger was really good and Kenny is amazing!!

Vital P was the server in the section I was sitting in. It was my first time eating at Mustards Bar and Grill, I don't fly through SFO regularly. However, having traveled airports from Europe to Asia he is not only an outstanding ambassador-representative for the establishment but also SFO airport writ large. On point, courteous and engaging enough that he was not neglecting other tables but made the customer (in an airport) service really good. The food was very tasty but his service would make me visit the restaurant again.

Who gets restaurant quality food and service at an airport??!!! This place is crazy good! Loved the table service, with smiles all round. The chicken nibbles are delicious especially with the dipping sauces. The fish and chips are super fresh and not overcooked. Yummy slaw. Super relaxed vibe, even though it's super busy outside. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Great experience at this spot! The food was spot on, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Darko-he is a consummate professional. He was incredibly helpful and polite when helping me choose the perfect wine. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in San Francisco!

We had to come back to Mustards Bar & Grill after such a great experience the last time-and it absolutely delivered again. We had about two hours between flights, and once again Darko took amazing care of us. Just like before, he made sure everything was spot on from start to finish. We started with the smoked chicken wings, which are honestly to die for. My wife confirmed they're the best wings we've ever had—no exaggeration. We also had the smoked chicken chop salad and the ½-Ib burger, and both were outstanding. Huge thank you to Darko and the entire Mustards Bar & Grill team for consistently great food and service. Happy New Year-we'll definitely be back on our next trip through SFO!

The vibe is classic sports bar energy: big screens, lively atmosphere, and a relaxed setting that makes it easy to unwind before a flight. Whether you’re catching a game or just grabbing a bite, it’s a great place to kick back. Now let’s talk about the food — excellent across the board. The standout for me was the Salmon BLT. Absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly cooked salmon, fresh toppings, and a great balance of flavors that felt both hearty and fresh. Not your typical airport sandwich — this was genuinely memorable. On top of all that, the pricing is very reasonable for airport dining, which makes the experience even better. Great service, great vibe, excellent food — easy 5 stars. I’ll be back every time I fly through SFO.
